R.J. Smith is a Southern California native and graduated from U.C. Santa Barbara in 2002. RJ joined the family business, Associated Design Services Inc., and became a licensed general contractor soon after graduation. Having been building with the family for more than 10 years now, he has continued to grow the business with more more than 30 homes and 2 multi-units, including custom and spec homes up to $12M. He and his wife Robin live in Redondo Beach where they are expecting their first child in in September.
